Lunar New Year, Disney Style

Over the past few years, Disneyland has used a small corner in Town Square to celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year. This year, they pulled out all the stops, decorating the entire Small World Mall area in honor of the event.  There were various performers wandering the area, themed music playing overhead, special treats for sale, and the main focal point,of course, were special character meet & greets. It was a lovely addition to the area, and they chose the perfect spot for it.  We're definitely looking forward to experiencing this again next year!

The area welcomes you with banners, music and performers. If you close your eyes for a second, it just might transport you to the China Pavilion at Epcot.

  1. That is AMAZING and I am so sorry I missed it but almost felt like I was there because your pictures are just beautiful and really captured the details. A lot of work went into this right down to stapling cherry blossoms to the trees! AMAZING. Loved it!

Please don't get ideas to start stapling cherry blossoms to your own trees. Haha
